President Kikwete
THE New York University has described President Jakaya Kikwete as a remarkable man and a great leader.
It also described him as somebody who is very forward looking, articulate and one who really cares about his country.
"President Kikwete and Mwalimu Nyerere are both great people", Professor Yaw Nyarko, Vice-Provost of the NYU said here yesterday.
He was speaking to the Daily News after President Kikwete had addressed a presidential forum on tourism and investment organised by the Africa Travel Association at the university.
"They were operating at different times; they had different issues and are all great leaders for their time", said the NYU don.
President Kikwete had spoken about Tanzania's vast and rich travel and investment opportunities and invited American investors to invest in the country.
